At All About Me, It’s All About the Client

When life gets a bit hectic and stressful, it’s necessary to take time to treat yourself and unwind. At All About Me Salon in Leesburg, the ladies know a thing or two about creating a relaxing, pampering environment—whether you’re interested in something as simple as a cut-and-style to something as dramatic as hair extensions. The professionals at All About Me have you covered.

All About Me Owner Tanisha Welsh describes cosmetology as an obsession.

“It’s something I’ve wanted to do ever since I was a little girl,” she says. “I enjoy making people feel happy and beautiful.”

And Tanisha made it a point to surround herself with professionals who have that same zest for their areas of expertise.

“Our stylists and professionals always listen to what their clients want and discuss available options before they begin any work,” she says. “We treat our clients like family. When someone walks in the door, they are immediately greeted and made to feel welcome.”

And just like the personal attention, the salon’s home-like décor allows clients to relax and feel at ease. At 3,000 square feet, the facility is spacious, but strategic design work allowed for each stylist to have her own space, in turn giving clients the quiet and privacy they desire.

As a cosmetologist, Tanisha enjoys learning new techniques and staying on the cutting edge of what’s hot in her field.

An exclusive Scruples salon, Tanisha stocks her salon’s shelves with the best.

“The Scruples hair care and color systems really stood out after trying many other products,” she explains. “Scruples products include a protective barrier complex that really protects color molecules to keep your hair color healthy, soft, and shiny.

“In addition,” she continues, “the Scruples hair color includes a combination of pure botanical extracts and vitamins which enhance the condition and brilliance of hair.”

With a fresh berry scent, they smell great, too!

Of course, that’s just the beginning of the professional services offered at All About Me. In light of the recent negative news regarding tanning beds, it’s reassuring to know you can still achieve the kissed-by-the-sun look without the harsh effects of tanning bed bulbs.

“The All About Me spray tan is a phenomenal product,” says Tanisha. “The spray includes CoQ10, DHA, and hyaluronic acid to improve and maintain the skin’s softness and health. Consider it a tanner with a body treatment built right in.”

In just 30 minutes you can look like you spent a day at the beach. The results typically last one to two weeks.

Another popular offering is the salon’s hair extensions made with real hair. The extensions, which can be colored, permed, and styled using hot tools, are expertly matched to your own hair color and texture or can be custom-blended to create a variety of highlights and lowlights.

“The extensions amazingly wear like natural hair,” says Tanisha. “They can be washed, combed, brushed, and styled.”

Using a simple application method, the extensions are placed using no heat, glue, wax, weaving, braiding, or chemicals. The process is safe and painless for any age. Best of all? They’re reusable.

“Extensions aren’t necessarily just about length,” says Tanisha. “They are often used cosmetically to conceal thinning hair or to add color to clients who don’t wish to use chemicals on their hair. We even offer free consultations to those interested in extensions.”

For anyone wishing to add subtle volume and body to their hair, texture fusion is the way to go. Using a selection of sponges instead of rollers, your stylist will give you the look you spend hours creating with a curling iron. The process is damage-free and doesn’t use any ammonia.

“The results last as long as a perm and the look is stunning,” says Tanisha.

At All About Me, it’s all about the client. Experience the difference for yourself!
