SUMMARY:In the Light of Led Zeppelin Tribute
DESCRIPTION:WIND-FM is ROCKIN’ THE REILLY! \nThe Only Page & Plant New Zeppelin Experience!\nInspired by the musical evolution of both Jimmy Page & Robert Plant\, In The Light of Led Zeppelin is bringing audiences the new musical and visual interpretation of the Led Zeppelin Experience the same way Page and Plant presented it in 1994 through 1998. A genre-bending\, chance-taking project\, the music is performed with the same attention to detail using authentic instrumentation. This extraordinary\, highly refined tribute ensemble digs deeper into the Middle Eastern and classical influences that permeated “Kashmir” — and then follows that intriguing thread into brand-new sounds when performing the classics\, providing a unique\, not-to- be-missed musical experience\, from the hard-rocking Zeppelin classics to the acoustic masterpieces. \nThanks to our ROCKIN’ sponsors!\nFirst Federal Bank\nFairbanks Construction\nEl Toreo\nHiers-Baxley Community Care\nAll American Air & Electric\, Inc.\nOptimum RV

For just a small investment of time\, you can make a huge difference in the life of a shelter dog. Hikers and walkers are welcome to join the group\, even if they don’t want to hold a leash. Please note: only visitors 16 years and older may walk a shelter dog. \nHeld the fourth Sunday of the month. The Pack Walk begins at 10 a.m. \nEnter through the Silver Springs State Park main entrance located at 5656 East Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40). \nThe Pack Walk is free with paid park admission.

SUMMARY:Tonina with Miranda MADison: Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series
DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series presents Tonina with opening act Miranda MADison on Friday\, June 28th from 6 – 9 p.m. at Webb Field at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Complex. \nThe performance is free. Please bring your chairs and blankets. Food is available from a select food truck as well as from the Summer BreakSpot program. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase. Visit local vendors and have fun at the Ocala Recreation and Parks recreation vehicle. \nEach concert in the series features a local non-profit organization working to expand cultural arts and understanding in our community; tonight’s featured non-profit is the Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr Commemorative Commission\, Ocala \nMore information is available at www.levittamp.org/ocala or contact Ocala Cultural Arts at 352-629-8447. \nHEADLINING ARTIST: TONINA\nTonina is an independent singer/songwriter\, bassist\, music journalist and poet from St. Louis\, Missouri who performs her original music along with her arrangements of covers in both Spanish and English. \nTonina comes from a family of music lovers that exposed her to many music styles\, from funk\, soul\, and jazz to classical music. She was born in San Diego\, California but raised in St. Louis\, Missouri from black and Sicilian backgrounds. All these components have given her an unparalleled musical scope playing many different genres yet making each her own. Her sense of rhythm\, melody\, and her extraordinary voice and song interpretation\, make her performances a thrilling experience for all listeners. For more information about Tonina\, please visit www.iamtonina.com. \nOPENING ARTIST: MIRANDA MADISON\nMiranda’s love of song and performance began early. Her mother and father\, both musicians\, encouraged her to sing and dance as a young child and she was drawn to a plethora of musicals like Cabaret and West Side Story\, as well as timeless jazz artists like Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald and her vocal style has been compared to that of Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy. She has continuously grown to appreciate the artistic talents of many but mainly those who are from a past era. \nDuring her most recent musical journey as the “Vintage Songstress\,” Miranda is determined to pay tribute and give credit to those who have contributed to the music industry but have mostly gone unrecognized. “The vast majority are unaware that before Peggy Lee\, and later Warner Bothers’ sultry character Jessica Rabbit popularized ‘Why Don’t You Do Right’ the song was a nitty gritty\, blues song composed by The Harlem Hamfats. There is a rawness and an essence to the song originally titled ‘A Weed Smoker’s Dream’ that you rarely get to hear on the radio.” Just a single example out of many that can be heard during Miranda’s performances. Her shows can be considered an educational journey through music’s past. For more information about Miranda Madison\, visit www.mirandamadison.com. \nSHOW US HOW #MUSICMOVES YOU! \nDon’t forget to show us how #musicmoves you by dancing and you may receive a 2019 Levitt AMP Ocala t-shirt.
