DESCRIPTION:We will be hosting cat adoption events at our new “east office” location. Our office features an open air cat room and is located at 2532 SE 17th Street. Every Wednesday from 10 am – 2 pm & 6 pm – 8 pm\, Friday from 10 am – 2 pm as well as every other Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm. Stop by and meet your new kitty companion. Our open air cat room has cats of all ages and breeds. They are all well socialized\, friendly and can’t wait to see you. All adoption fees are $50 which includes the cat’s spay/neuter\, microchip and up to date vaccinations.

DESCRIPTION:The PACE Derby Day event is a unique trail run through the Florida Horse Park. 5k runners can take in the beauty of the park\, and 10k runners get the added benefit of running through the Cross Florida Greenway trail. \nPACE Derby Day is race #10 in the Big Hammock Race Series. The Big Hammock Race Series is a 10 race series throughout North and Central Florida that allows runners/walkers of all levels to achieve prizes and perks as they move through the fitness challenge This year long series gives participants that ability to challenge themselves by acquiring points based on their race finish time and/or simply completing each race at their own pace to earn series medals. \nEvent shirts will be modeled after the jockey silk of the 2018 Derby winner JUSTIFY. Medals will be given for all 5k and 10k finishers and in the tradition of horse events\, winners will be awarded ribbons.
