DESCRIPTION:The concept of using a patient’s own immune system to eradicate invasive cancers has been under investigation for many decades\, but recent breakthroughs in the field of cancer immunotherapy have revolutionized the landscape of treatments for many aggressive cancers such as metastatic melanoma\, lung cancer\, and kidney cancer. Advances in our understanding of how cancers evade immune detection and new methods for actively engaging the killing power and specificity of the immune system in the elimination of tumor cells have opened the door to several new treatment approaches. This talk will review the major approaches being deployed in cancer immunotherapy treatments and the relevance in the treatment of malignant brain tumors.

DESCRIPTION:Featuring The Chiffons\, La La Brooks Original Lead Singer of The Crystals\, Peggy March\, and The Chantels. \nThe Chantels were the first ladies of rock n roll at the start of the Doo Wop music craze with hits like “Maybe” and “Look In My Eyes”. The Chiffons from The Bronx\, were having a field day on the charts with the #1 “He’s So Fine”\, “One Fine Day” and “Sweet Talkin’ Guy”. In the early part of the 1960’s they were joined at the top of the charts by the youngest female to have a solo hit\, in 1963\, with Little Peggy March’s “I Will Follow Him” and “I Wish I Were A Princess”. \nWith the onslaught of early to mid 60’s “girl groups” which became very popular\, original lead singer of The Crystals\, La La Brooks also had chart topping success with “Da Doo Ron Ron”\, “He’s A Rebel”\, “Then He Kissed Me”\, and “Uptown” produced from the “wall of sound” of Phil Spector. \nThe entire show is back by the incomparable Rocky & the Rollers.

Not to be overlooked\, attendees can also enjoy American classics like freshly made burgers\, and phillys drenched in melted cheese. \nWash all that delicious food down with ice-cold beverages\, served in commemorative\, souvenir cups\, and start working on dessert\, while enjoying melodies performed live by local musicians. We’ve got a talented lineup of passionate entertainers representing genres like country\, contemporary and folk music. \nA Marion County event wouldn’t be complete without outdoor activities. Parks and Recreation’s kid zone is fully equipped with recreational activities and games. On the way there\, be sure to stop by the bounce houses\, face-painting station\, and petting zoo. \nThere will be lots of prizes and drawings throughout the day\, including the Marion County Trivia and Scavenger Hunt prize\, more details on the scavenger hunt can be found online at library.marioncountyfl.org. \nTake a stroll down Memory Lane\, an exhibit showcasing Marion County’s unique history. DESCRIPTION:Selling at the Yard Sale is $15 per car load for a 10×10 space. Those who set up on Saturday\, will receive a coupon to set up for FREE on Sunday! This money is donated to the Marion County Horse Specialty 4-H Club who are on hand selling breakfast sandwiches\, hamburgers\, hot dogs\, coffee\, cold drinks and snacks. \nVendor setup on Yard Sale Saturday is between 6:30 and 8:30am. Vendor setup on Yard Sale Sundays is 7:30-9:30am. There are no reservations. It is always first come\, first served so get here early to get a spot! \nStores are open for shopping 8am – 6pm on Horsey Yard Sale Saturdays and 9am – 4pm on Horsey Yard Sale Sundays! \nIn an effort to cut down on traffic jams and setup delays\, we will be changing the vendor check in format. Setting up at the Horsey Yard Sale will be $15 per car load. If you plan to share a space with someone\, all of your items and people must be in one vehicle. \nNEW Horsey Yard Sale Preview Sale: Those of you that cannot make it to the Yard Sale on Saturday are welcome to come to the store Friday Mar 29th starting at 9 am\, and we will offer 15% off store wide just like we do during the regular Horsey Yard Sale! So\, if you are horse showing or leaving town for the weekend\, or don’t like crowds come see us Friday and you won’t miss out on the savings!!! \nThe Famous Horsey Yard Sale occurs four times a year in conjunction with a massive store wide sale at Tack Shack of Ocala and Tack Shack Too\, our Western store. Make sure you also check out our Clearance Room\, in the back of Tack Shack Too\, where already discounted merchandise is also on sale! \nOur large back parking lot becomes an equine flea market with folks selling used tack\, gently used stable equipment\, and all kinds of other used horsey things you never knew you needed! \nSELLERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL OUT OF TRAILERS TRUCKS OR CARS \nDue to space constraints and safety issues vendors must provide their own tables\, chairs\, shade\, and change.
