SUMMARY:Solar Celebration
DESCRIPTION:I believe we are the first business in Dunnellon to install solar panels (120 of them!) on the roof of one of our buildings. We hope to set a great example and encourage others to go solar. SO\, to get everyone fired up and knowledgeable about it\, we are hosting a day long celebration on Earth Day 2019 and we’d like to invite area businesses\, residents and interested people to attend. Representatives from a couple solar companies will be on hand to speak about climate change\, the current technology\, rebates for business owners\, tax credits for both residents & businesses and answer questions. We hope to have lenders who specialize in solar on hand as well as electric car reps\, sierra & audubon club\, a green builder and more. To add to the learning\, a little fun like food and live music\, and possibly our new EV charging station will be installed and usable. (not on my website yet but will be in a few days – just trying to make your deadline)

Kings\, Queens & Castles will be on display Saturday April 6 through Saturday\, June 22 at the Discovery Center\, 701 NE Sanchez Ave. \nDesigned for children ages 3-11\, Kings Queens & Castles features an array of interactive elements. Visitors can walk across a drawbridge into a medieval castle complete with turret slides and a giant chess board floor with life-size chess pieces. After your human chess game\, you can make a crown\, build your own castle walls.
