Pioneering fitness authority Gold’s Gym celebrated with a festive all-day party on Saturday, February 22nd , at their stylishly appointed new Ocala location, featuring some of the world’s best equipment and expert staff, at 4417 NW Blitchton Road.
Among the standout elements are the facility’s indoor lap pool, spacious sauna, recovery room featuring hydromassage beds and red-light therapy, kids’ club rooms and their great smoothie bar.
Gold’s officials describe the venue as “the newest, most advanced gym in Ocala. From free weights to group exercise classes, and cardio equipment to the most modern personal training options—we’re dedicated to helping you experience change.”
International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB) Hall of Fame professional bodybuilders Shawn Ray and Kevin Levrone made personal appearances and answered questions from attendees, along with IFBB fitness professional, author and coach Erin Stern.
The event was capped off by a ribbon cutting with the Ocala/Marion County Chamber & Economic Partnership, featuring Ocala Mayor Kent Guinn, owner Pete Garcia and his family, the project’s architect Rolando Sosa and its contractor Paul Stentiford.
