The Path To Wellness

As a national franchise, Chiropractic USA is under the strict scrutiny of national health and safety guidelines, requiring it to be far above compliance when compared to many other chiropractic offices. Patients notice the difference.

“We want to set the standard for the entire nation when it comes to quality chiropractic care,” says Dr. Renny Edelson, D.C..

Chiropractic care is much more than a form of pain relief, which is how many people view it.  It’s also a platform to help you achieve a happy, healthy lifestyle.

Your nervous system, made up of your brain and spinal cord, controls and regulates every cell of your body. When your nervous system doesn’t work properly, your body isn’t functioning to its full potential, leaving you feeling sick and in pain.

The friendly, dedicated staff at Chiropractic USA genuinely cares about a patient’s health and well being. Doctors take the time to educate each patient about the options available to them.

A state-of-the-art facility, Chiropractic USA offers the latest diagnostic technology. Surface electromyography (sEMG) uses a small electrical signal and infrared thermography to graph the nerve and muscle activity which affect and reflect spinal imbalances. When nerve function is interfered with, a subluxation (when one or more of the bones of your spine move out of position and create pressure on spinal nerves) occurs and as a result, muscles, blood vessels, and even organs may malfunction.

“This is a wonderful tool we have,” Dr. Edelson says of the sEMG machine. “This painless test has no side effects and it allows us to determine the proper course of treatment for our patients.”

Chiropractic USA also offers digital posture analysis that shows patients how far they deviate from maintaining correct posture.

Finally, low-dose x-rays show the skeleton’s boney landmarks, allowing your doctor to see how long the subluxation has been occurring and exactly where it is. X-rays are also utilized for before and after pictures to measure a patient’s progress.

As a chiropractor for 22 years and an educator for 19, Dr. Edelson is passionate when he discusses how chiropractic care is essential. The staff treats everyone from infants to the elderly. Chiropractic care can and should be a family affair.

“Some families come in together for treatment,” Dr. Edelson says. “It’s extremely meaningful and important. These parents are ingraining wellness into their kid’s lifestyles.”

Dr. Edelson makes it a point to ask new patients three questions concerning their wellness: When was the last time you were checked for pressure on your nervous system, how often do you think you should check your system, and when should you have started getting checked?

“Your spine and posture are the windows to your nervous system,” Dr. Edelson says. “We need to take care of them and maintain them on a regular basis.”

Situated in the quiet, tree-lined Laurel Run Professional Center, the Chiropractic USA office is quaint and comfortable. Flat screen televisions, scattered throughout the office show educational programs that encourage patients to think positive about their overall wellness and health.. In the “low-tech” training room which includes stretching and traction machines, patients can stretch sore muscles and work to realign spinal deviations.

“Nothing is more important than health and well being,” Dr. Edelson says. “People who come to Chiropractic USA learn a great deal about their health. Through practical experiences and time, they begin to see great changes in how they feel (physically and mentally) and begin to make better decisions for their family’s wellness for the future.”
