The Publisher: The Spirit of Giving

One of our goals this year at Ocala Style was to give more, and in part, we’ve done that by giving away thousands of dollars worth of prizes to our readers throughout the year. This month, we have something very special planned for children. We’ve researched the hottest and most sought after toys in order to bring you, our loyal readers, Ocala Style’s biggest giveaway yet. Beginning December 1 and continuing for 20 days, we will be holding daily toy giveaways on our Facebook page. Nearly $4,000 worth of brand new, in-the-box, super cool toys for children of all ages. We even used expert toy critics, like my grandson Jagger, who gave the items two thumbs up! If you want to read all about the toys and games we’ll be giving away, turn to page 46 for details. For your chance to win, just “Like” us on Facebook and watch for our daily contests.

But there’s more. We’ve set aside a special bundle of toys, worth hundreds more, for a charity of your choosing. That’s right, YOU decide which charity should receive these toys. Simply go to our Facebook page and vote for your favorite organization.

In many ways, this year has been very busy and very rewarding for the Ocala Style family. Throughout the year, we have received so many positive comments on our new design and updated editorial content. Plus, business has steadily improved each month, and our goal of giving more has put smiles on the faces of lots of happy winners.

Next month marks the beginning of a new year, and I encourage each and every one of you to give more as well. Every day there is a need and every day is the perfect time to give. Trust me. It will be worth it.

Until next time,

 Kathy
