Copacobana Cuban Café

In the mood for authentic Cuban? A real Cuban sandwich at lunch time or a delicious serving of carne con papas for dinner? Look no further than Copacabana Cuban Café in historic downtown Mount Dora. Choose a seat on the outside deck or inside and enjoy the pernil (Cuban-style roast port seasoned with mojo), chuletas de puerco (grilled pork chops topped with grilled onions), or pescado en salsa (sautéed fish in a homemade Creole sauce). Entrées are served with your choice of rice and either fried plantains or a salad. Add a side of frijoles rojos (red beans) or yuca frita (fried cassava) to any entrée, and be sure to finish your meal a slice of rich, caramel flan and a strong Cuban coffee.
