2019 Alzheimer’s Ride for the Cure

Come for the day (Saturday) or camp for the weekend!
Friday:
3pm-Registration for Campers-$100 for weekend includes camping, admission to all scheduled events, including burger/dogs cookout on Friday night, poker ride, entertainment, and Barbecue lunch on Saturday. Reserve your space in advance by contacting Marilee McGinnis, Sun Country Treasurer at 561-723-3615. (call or text) Do not call the campground directly- Sun Country has reserved the entirety of the campground, and they will tell you it is sold out.

7:30 pm – Entertainment

Saturday:
8:30 am – Registration begins for anyone not pre-registered. $30 for day riders includes poker ride and Barbecue Lunch. Park in day riders section of campground.
9:30 am – Poker Ride (1st prize – $100.00; 2nd prize – $75.00; 3rd prize – $25.00)
9:30 am – 3:00 – Seminole Nutritional Evaluation
12:30 pm – Barbecue Lunch & Poker Prizes
1:30 pm – Raffle & Silent Auction
6:00 pm – Entertainment
TBA – Moonlight Ride

All participants must observe State of Florida Campground rules:
-All horses much be safely secured. Tie-out posts are available at each site. Owners are responsible for their horses at all times and should not be left unsupervised.
-Clean up after your horse(s) and deposit manure in bins.
-Camp fires in designated areas only. Check-in time for campsites is 3pm and check-out time is 1 pm.

If you plan to arrive after sunset, call 561.723.3615 before 5pm for the gate combination. Additional vehicles may be required to park in designated areas. All day riders on Saturday must park in the day parking area.
(Pet are allowed, however, must be on a leash at all times.)
( All riders under 16 years of age riding an equine on public lands, roads, or trails must wear a certified helmet.)
