9th Annual Habitat Bowl-a-thon

Join us for the 9th annual Bowl2Build Bowl-a-thon for an afternoon of family fun with raffle items, silent action, games, 50/50 split the pot and top bowlers will be awarded. All proceeds benefit the Habitat Homeownership Program which gives low-income families the opportunity of Home Ownership with affordable monthly mortgage payments.

Raffle Items – Purchase raffle tickets at registration table and from volunteers, place a ticket in the bucket of the item you would like to win. Winners will be selected throughout the event. You can place as many tickets as you would like in any bucket. Tickets $1 each or $20 for 25 Tickets

Silent Auction Items – Items will be displayed on table, bid sheet will list description and value. Place your bid on the bid sheet but keep checking as others will try to outbid you. Continue to monitor the items you are interested in until the silent auction closes. All bid sheets will be collected, winners will be announced and given a location to pay and pick up items. All bids must in $5 or more increments.

Red Pin Bowling – purchase the RED PIN coupon – Bowl a strike when there is a colored Head Pin – you will receive a ticket to be entered for chances to win cool prizes. Another team must verify the colored head pin and strike.

Bingo – Game 1 only – purchase a BINGO card – mark off any tiles that you completed while bowling. Bingo card is for individual bowlers – not a team. Receive a ticket – all BINGO winners will be entered into a drawing to win cool prizes. Ex. if you bowl a strike, mark off any space that has the word STRIKE, and continue until you fill a row and call BINGO. Card must be verified by another team.

50/50 Split the Pot – purchase split the pot tickets for a chance to win 1/2 the money collected on 50/50 tickets.

Medals – Scores from the FIRST game will be used to determine who the top winners of each category to include:

Highest Score for Teams (Combined total score of four players):First, Second & Third place teams will be awarded for the highest score of four bowlers on your team. If you have more than 4 bowlers, the four highest scores will be counted.
Highest Score Ladies – Highest score overall from game 1
Highest Score Men’s – Highest score overall from game 1

Lowest Score Ladies – Lowest score overall from game 1
Lowest Score Men’s – Lowest score overall from game 1

Best Costume – Individual with the best costume will be awarded- theme to be announced.

Fundraising – the Team with the largest amount of funds collected will win prizes. All teams are encouraged to help raise funds for the Habitat Home Ownership Program – where all proceeds are used towards the construction of a new home for a low-income family. This program gives families the opportunity to own a home with affordable monthly mortgage payments with zero percent interest.
