Indian Classical Dance and Music in Ocala FL on Feb 24th 2019

$12 – $50Rudram Dance Company and Shruti Foundation jointly present a unique event coming to Ocala for the first time.
A combination Indian Music and Dance event set to mesmerize even those new to Indian performing culture.
The first half of the concert will be North Indian Instrumental Music involving Sarod & Tabla – a Duet by Arnab Chakrabarty from Toronto, performing on Sarod (a unique, fretless indian String instrument) and Shankhachur Lahiri joining him on the Tabla (Indian Drums).
The second half of this family-friendly event features an Indian Dance performance in the Bharatanatyam style, With 17 dancers from Rudram Dance Company presents ‘Padma’- Visions of Krishna -under the tutelage of Tara Bikkasani. With Soulful Music and vibrant costumes,the dancers will tell you stories of Krishna -Leelas .
