PACE Derby Day 5k -10k and 1-mile

The PACE Derby Day event is a unique trail run through the Florida Horse Park. 5k runners can take in the beauty of the park, and 10k runners get the added benefit of running through the Cross Florida Greenway trail.

PACE Derby Day is race #10 in the Big Hammock Race Series. The Big Hammock Race Series is a 10 race series throughout North and Central Florida that allows runners/walkers of all levels to achieve prizes and perks as they move through the fitness challenge This year long series gives participants that ability to challenge themselves by acquiring points based on their race finish time and/or simply completing each race at their own pace to earn series medals.

Event shirts will be modeled after the jockey silk of the 2018 Derby winner JUSTIFY. Medals will be given for all 5k and 10k finishers and in the tradition of horse events, winners will be awarded ribbons. Shirts are not included in the 1-mile, and it is not a timed event.

5K Entry Fees: $25 until midnight Nov 30, 2018. $30 until May 3, 2019 at 9am. $35 race day
10K Entry Fees: $35 until midnight Nov 30, 2018. $45 until May 3, 2019 at 9am. $50 race day
One Mile: $15 at all times
Race day Schedule: Packet Pick Up begins at 6:30am. 10K 7:30 5K 7:45 One Mile 8:00 8:30 5K Awards 9:30 10K Awards One Mile is NOT a timed event
Awards: In the tradition of horse events, ribbons will be awarded to the following:
5K 1st Overall M/F, 1ST Masters M/F, Top 3 M/F in 5 year age groups 8 and under to 75 Plus
10K 1st Overall M/F, 1st Masters M/F, Top 3 M/F in 5 year age groups 8 and under to 75 plus
