Don’t miss the PR Regional Summit, presented by the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Ocala Chapter, Thursday, May 2 from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion Extension Auditorium.

This exciting professional development event will feature a full day of dynamic public relations and communications professionals in the Central Florida area sharing their best practices and industry tips and tricks.

General session speakers include:

Alyson Lundell, Senior Public Relations Director, Universal Orlando Resort – “Scary Good PR” The annual buzz, launch and terror behind Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights.
Heather Fagan, Deputy Chief of Staff, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Office – “Communicating in the Wake of a Tragedy” Orlando’s response to the Pulse nightclub shooting.
Claire Lessinger, Director of Special Events, Tampa Bay Sports Commission – “How Major Sporting Events Leave a Lasting Impact” Public relations stories highlighting the economic and community impact following major sporting events in the Tampa Bay area.
In addition to the general session speakers, this event will also include four breakout sessions, with two speaker options for each. Breakout session speakers will cover a variety of topics including social media strategies, leadership development, brand management, SEO best practices and more.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Registration will begin promptly at 7 a.m. the day of the event.
