A Day At The Lake

The sun, the sand, the waves-there’s just something about a body of water and a shoreline. Whether you’re into adventure sports, hooking a largemouth bass, lounging in the sun, or splashing in the water, Carney Island on Lake Weir is one of Ocala’s most beloved weekend hotspots. On a recent afternoon, Ocala Style sent photographer Lisa Crigar-after donning a pair of flip-flops and slathering on some sunscreen-to take in the action on the shores of Lake Weir. All in all, not a bad way to spend a lazy summer afternoon. Now, if only all “work” assignments were this tough!
