Breathing Life Into The Blue Heron Gallery

SPECIAL TO OCALA STYLE

After a successful fifteen year run in Historic Downtown Ocala, the Blue Heron Gallery, an Ocala landmark, is now reopening with some added enticements in home décor. The completely renovated 6,000 square foot historic red brick home located on East Fort King Street will soon be open to the public once again.

The new owner, Ralph Mills, enjoys more than twenty-five years of success and award-winning designs along with his parent company, All Interior Furnishings Builder Resource and Design Center. All Interior Furnishings has been recognized as one of Tampa Bay’s top home design centers and custom cabinetry companies. Now they are bringing their talent and expertise to Ocala’s Blue Heron Gallery, which now offers several levels of products and services for builders and discriminating home owners.

“Whether you’re in need of home furnishings, home improvements such as fine cabinetry for kitchens and baths, or professional advice about remodeling or rebuilding your home, consider Blue Heron Gallery first and foremost.” says Cheryl Ferris, General Manager. “Remember that building new or renovating can be an emotional experience so relax and venture to quiet Fort King Street, you’ll be glad you did!”

Now nestled in the Blue Heron, you’ll find All Interior Furnishings, Ocala’s newest full service interior design company, featuring unique furniture, lamps, artwork, and European antiques. Our professional staff offers design and consulting services to homeowners who are building new or renovating their existing homes. For home builders, All Interior Furnishings provides full model merchandising and architectural services. The design staff can offer space planning, cad design, hand renderings, building material specifications, and product selection colors just to name a few.

Also found in the Blue Heron is Artisan Cabinetry Fine Kitchens and Baths. They are the number one company for Wood-Mode and Brookhaven cabinetry in Florida and Artisan is ranked in the top ten of 1,200 dealers in the nation. They offer comprehensive cabinetry and design services to new home builders, their buyers, or individuals embarking on a renovation project.

If getting organized is at the top of your list, Closet Art, a division of Artisan, offers organizational systems for each and every room in the home, including home office and garages.

Closet Art offers space design and storage at its finest. This is a cost effective avenue for new home builders to offer their buyers, as well as a wanted addition by homeowners who are building new on their own, or renovating their existing home. A bonus for the homeowner is that all closet systems are installed by trained cabinet installers, allowing for a perfect fit.

A BRIGHT FUTURE

When Ralph Mills created All Interior Furnishings in 1981, he had a vision of what was to come. By 2007 he would see his vision of design expand into today’s Builder Resource & Design Center. Now, small and large builders alike, as well as private residents, are benefiting from Ralph’s many years of construction experience. As his company grew, Ralph started Artisan Cabinetry, a fine kitchen and bath company. They are a full-service cabinet company that specializes in complete design and installation for builders and individuals.

“We are working with Ocala’s top notch vendors and building professionals for all the jobs we do,” Cheryl says. “There are many talented individuals in Ocala and we intend to utilize their strengths and expertise. One of our assets is having the flexibility to react on the spot to someone’s immediate need by drawing from our inventory of products and services.”

The design and consulting staff members at All Interiors Furnishings and Artisan Cabinetry understand that your home is your biggest investment. That’s why they go above and beyond to give you exactly what you’re looking for.

“When someone walks into our facility, they’re coming for a specific reason,” says Cheryl. “Some will come to seek help remodeling their entire home while others will just want new window fashions. Still some come in just looking for a hard-to-find piece of artwork. It doesn’t matter what you need, we’re there with you every step of the way.”

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

When choosing the appropriate location for his Ocala facility, Ralph wasn’t just looking for a typical storefront.

“As a home design center, the style and location of our store was very important to us,” Ralph says. “Anytime you venture into a new city, you have to firmly establish yourself as a company. As we visited Ocala we came across the Blue Heron Gallery in the historic district, and we knew immediately that it was the right location for us. The 6,000 square foot historic home is a part of Ocala’s history and it’s filled with charm and character. We’ve enhanced a historic treasure with updated kitchen and bath displays as well as polishing up the exterior charm of the home.”

Ralph says the staff is very proud of the fact that they were able to take a beloved Ocala landmark and give it a new life. They can do the same for your home.

Watch for the grand opening in March 2007.
