Day In The Life – March 2020

In observing the beauty that exists in the here and now, we can find the extraordinary revealed within the ordinary. Each month we invite you to see our community with fresh eyes through the lens of our talented photographers.

By Diane Gillespie

Traveling County Road 484 to Dunnellon, I passed a beautiful, endless field of sunflowers and couldn’t help but wonder if there were honey bees out and about. More than just a sunflower field, Cannon Farms is a fifth-generation, family-owned farm (which opens in May for the season) made into a series of mazes. For a small fee you can pick your own sunflowers and, when finished, you’re given a slice of the farm fresh watermelon.
