Traveling County Road 484 to Dunnellon, I passed a beautiful, endless field of sunflowers and couldn’t help but wonder if there were honey bees out and about. More than just a sunflower field, Cannon Farms is a fifth-generation, family-owned farm (which opens in May for the season) made into a series of mazes. For a small fee you can pick your own sunflowers and, when finished, you’re given a slice of the farm fresh watermelon.
