January Art Walk

First Friday Art Walk is back on Friday, January 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. Art Walk is a FREE event and takes place the first Friday of each month from September through May. Located within Ocala’s historic downtown, event festivities include artist displays, live entertainment, free family art activities and extended shopping hours.

JANUARY includes these special performances and activities on the downtown square;

6 – 9 p.m.: Live music on the gazebo stage by NINO castaneda! Performing originals as well as jazz and Latin classics with afro-cuban rhythms .

Appleton Museum of Art, Painting with a Twist, Marion County Public Library System – FL, ART ARMY Ocala, and the Discovery Center will provide free, hands-on art activities for ALL ages on the square.

The Reilly Arts Center and members of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, Inc.will be conducting a special musical activity for guests of all ages throughout the event.

Additional activities and events will be happening all throughout downtown at some of our participating businesses. #shoplocal #eatlocal #buylocal

Artists will be working throughout the event creating works of art for sale, live portraits, live caricatures and local musicians will be playing within the Art Walk!
