Summertime Sunrise Guided Paddling Tour

Paddling Adventures, brought to you by Cape Leisure Corporation at Silver Springs State Park, is now offering guided paddling tours along the world famous Silver Springs River run!

Join us as we explore this ancient wilderness and discover some of the history of the river, as well as see many of the wild and beautiful natural wonders that live here at the Springs! This ancient place is home to a great many amazing species of animals that are regularly seen as we journey down this undeveloped river system. We will look for the West Indian manatees, troops of the rhesus macaque monkeys, river otters, American alligators, eight species of turtles, numerous other reptiles, along with a number of Florida’s 525 known species of birds regularly seen along the waterway.

Additionally, we will pass historic structures that replicated Ocala’s nearly 200 year old Fort King, a cracker village that supported that fort, and the Seminole trade village that was once here. These are remnants of an earlier time when the Springs were used to film movies and create attractions for those who visited here.

Guided Paddling Adventures are designed for adult-level physicality and participation. Individuals must be able to physically handle their assigned vessel and maintain pace with the guide.
