GlobalWide Realty Ribbon Cutting

The GlobalWide Realty team welcomed customers, business associates and the community into their new offices for a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 2 that featured music, small bites and beverages. The bright, modern space in Cala Hills is the headquarters for this new real estate group formed in March.

“Everybody that’s come by has said there’s a nice vibe here,” Broker Miguel Rodriguez says enthusiastically. “We all treat each other with a lot of respect. It’s more like family.”

In just a few months, the team started by Rodriguez and partner Dasier Fagundo has grown to include 27 real estate agents. Rodriguez, who got his real estate license in 2015, says his goal was always to open his own brokerage. The South Florida native had an interest in real estate for many years and saw the possibilities in Ocala when family members moved here 11 years ago.

“I knew Ocala had a lot of potential for growth, so I wanted to be part of that growth,” he says. “I took my time to make sure I learned the market, got to know Ocala and see the trends that are here and build a customer base.”

Rodriguez says what sets GlobalWide Realty apart is the care they take to help new real estate agents succeed.

“We can get people who are new, with no experience, and build a foundation the right way and start making things happen,” he explains. “I see a lot of people stuck, especially when they get their license; they don’t know what to do.” Rodriguez says their unique training program helps agents generate leads and consistently make deals. “We help our agents be successful.”

Rodriguez and his team want to establish themselves as a community-minded firm.

“We’re going to be involved in our community,” he says, adding that his partner and military veteran Dasier Fagundo and his wife are very supportive of charities that assist veterans. “We’re going to be sponsoring things around town because we want to be part of the community.”
