Now, Mercedes Homes has branched into several divisions, one of which is Howard Homes.
“Howard Homes centers on scattered homes, or on-your-lot homes,” Angie says. “We also do inventory homes, or homes that a customer buys during the construction process. This allows for quick move-in. While many traditional builders will focus on one or two subdivisions, we’ll build your dream home wherever you would like us to.”

Even after 20 years, the company is still very much a family-run business. Howard is currently serving as Chairman of the Board for Mercedes Homes, while his children manage the day-to-day operations of Mercedes Homes and its various subsidiaries, including Howard Homes. Howard has entrusted his son, Jack, with the operations of Howard Homes. Jack, like his father, recognizes that clients are more than just customers.

A wide variety of floorplans are available, with prices ranging from the low 100’s to the 200’s. Soon, construction will be underway on the new Marion County model center.
