It’s A Wrap

More than 50 customers and community partners celebrated the ribbon cutting at Loco Graphics on Thursday, August 1, enjoying a champagne toast, catered buffet and live piano music.

“It’s been a really long journey to say the least,” began owner Dennis Gonzalez. “It’s been an interesting journey to get here.” With the support of his wife, Cely Feliciano, Gonzalez started Loco Graphics seven years ago by investing $100 in a plotter, which is a specialized graphics printer.

“When I cut that first word, I was like, ‘Wow, this is amazing,’” Gonzalez says. “It was a four-letter word and it took about five minutes. Here we are, fast forward seven years and now we’ve got an actual plotter and it cuts that same word in seven seconds!”

The company has been in the location at 1835 SW College Road for nearly a year, and Gonzalez says the Wrap Studio is the highlight of the 10,000-square-foot facility.

“We have the cleanest carpeted-floor wrap studio that you’ll see in Central Florida,” he explains. “It keeps the contamination to zero and there are no particles or dust flying in the air and getting behind the wrap when we’re sticking.” At 2,500 square feet, the specially designed wrap area can hold as many as six or seven vehicles, and Gonzalez says on any given week there are usually three or four vehicle wraps in process.

“We have enough room in here to be able to grow,” he continues. “Every department has its own room.” He notes that about 40 percent of Loco’s business is vehicle wraps, about 40 percent is signs, and 20 percent is printing.

Gonzalez credits his team with the company’s success.

“I couldn’t have done it without the support of my team. We’re very good at what we do, we’re the best, and there’s a reason we’re the best—because I’ve got the best team that has ever existed. It’s a very big blessing to have these good people support me and stand behind me.”
