The bright, sunny morning was the perfect backdrop for the message of hope Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) offered our community with the opening of their new, state-of-the-art Ocala Cancer Center.
Dozens of patients, community members and local officials gathered for the official ribbon cutting of the new 21,000 square-foot facility located at 4945 SW 49th Place, off State Road 200 just west of I-75.
“It’s a true honor and with a spirit of humility and gratitude that I was able to attend, knowing so many more lives will continue to be saved,” said Marion County Commissioner Michelle Stone, who was a patient of Florida Cancer Specialists’ Dr. Craig Reynolds nearly 18 years ago. “Every need and service will be available for those fighting cancer under this one 
roof,” she explained.
