The Golf of Your Dreams

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. — Robert Frost

Imagine a morning from your dreams. The quietness of the day seems to wait for you to make it yours. A small cloud hovers over the dewy grass where no one has been, inviting you to come and be part of it.

Mornings at Sanctuary Ridge are what dreams are made of. It is a golfing experience like no other you have ever experienced. Central Florida’s public “mountain” course is a treat for all of your senses and it calls to you to come out and play.

Sanctuary Ridge is located at 2601 Diamond Club Drive, off Hancock Road at the top of the rolling hills of Clermont, just a few miles west of Orlando. All roads lead here and once you are here, you will want to stay for the full treatment.

Fall back in love with the flavors you remember from childhood. The chef’s staff creates dishes your mother used to make — with flair. Enjoy delicious and heart healthy breakfasts, great lunch items like mouthwatering French dip, a mammoth fish sandwich, homemade soups, and cool, crisp salads of all kinds.

Your evening dining experience is like no other. Gaze at a view of Central Florida that extends from Altamonte Springs to the Disney fireworks, while you experience fork-tender filet mignon, fresh fish, lobster tails, and side dishes you will write home about. Monday and Thursday are prime rib nights with service for two of a 10-oz. cut, accompanied by your choice of side dishes and a bottle of your favorite Sycamore Lane wine for $28.99. Come and enjoy live entertainment, dinner shows, Martini Madness Friday nights, and happy hour from 2-6pm each day and all day Saturday.

The management team has deep roots in the golf community. Owner and general manager Brett Mullin is a former USGA Junior Amateur Champion and has been a member of the PGA for over 20 years. Coming from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Brett was director of golf at Lookout Mountain Golf Club for 13 years, and has had the honor of being involved at other clubs such as Houston Country Club and TPC at Sawgrass.

Owner and course agronomist, Jim Ellison comes from Bay Hill where he served as golf course superintendent and then as vice president of Agronomy for the Palmer Management Team, for a combined 35 years. Jim now serves as the superintendent at the Country Club of Orlando.

Owner and Director of Golf Chris “Coach” Bateman is a former basketball and golf coach, school teacher, public guest speaker, and has also been a teaching golf pro for 35 years. Some of his past students are 1997 US Amateur Champion and now PGA Touring Professional Matt Kuchar and the youngest player to ever qualify for the PGA Tour, Ty Tryon.

Tom Swain, “The Grease” as he is called at the club, keeps Sanctuary Ridge running smoothly. Tom serves as the operations manager and has taken his last four companies from small but successful enterprises to multi-million dollar producers.

Look to this light on the hill for exceptional golf with an undulating course that will remind you of North Carolina. The views and vistas are unparalleled and the service is second to none. Choose Sanctuary Ridge for banquets, weddings, fine dining, and a great place to hang out after a long day at work or on the course. The club is always open to the public and everyone is welcome.

Wealth in knowledge and driven desire for excellence are the cornerstones for this newly remodeled and re-staffed course. Don’t miss the experience. There is just nothing else like it.
