The management team has deep roots in the golf community. Owner and general manager Brett Mullin is a former USGA Junior Amateur Champion and has been a member of the PGA for over 20 years. Coming from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Brett was director of golf at Lookout Mountain Golf Club for 13 years, and has had the honor of being involved at other clubs such as Houston Country Club and TPC at Sawgrass.
Owner and course agronomist, Jim Ellison comes from Bay Hill where he served as golf course superintendent and then as vice president of Agronomy for the Palmer Management Team, for a combined 35 years. Jim now serves as the superintendent at the Country Club of Orlando.
Owner and Director of Golf Chris “Coach” Bateman is a former basketball and golf coach, school teacher, public guest speaker, and has also been a teaching golf pro for 35 years. Some of his past students are 1997 US Amateur Champion and now PGA Touring Professional Matt Kuchar and the youngest player to ever qualify for the PGA Tour, Ty Tryon.
Tom Swain, “The Grease” as he is called at the club, keeps Sanctuary Ridge running smoothly. Tom serves as the operations manager and has taken his last four companies from small but successful enterprises to multi-million dollar producers.
