“There’s Nothing We Can’t Get”

As a licensed, bonded, and insured plant broker, Chad Casey is able to offer clients a great selection of plants and shrubs. Large quantities, small quantities, hard-to-find, or exotic, Chad can get it.

Co-owned by Chad and his brother, Brian Casey, Casey Family Growers is a wholesale distributor that supplies nurseries, landscapers, contractors, businesses, and others with top-quality plants, shrubs, flowers, trees, and any other landscaping item imaginable.

“There’s nothing we can’t get,” Chad says.

Originally from South Florida, the Casey family grew up surrounded by agriculture and nature.

“I’ve always loved the outdoors,” Chad says, “and I’ve always wanted to work with my family. This is the best of both worlds.”

And the Casey family has a strong bond with not only each other, but also with the community.

“I grew up in a very rural area of Florida,” Chad says. “We would often travel to Ocala to spend time with family and we really appreciated the area. It’s the small things—like the lights on the square at Christmas and the nature trails—that make Ocala so special.

“And then there’s the people,” Chad continues. “I knew this is where we wanted to raise our two boys.”

“We’re glad to see Chad and his family back in Ocala,” says client and friend John Brantley, Sr. “They have a new operation here, but I know the family’s reputation. They have the potential to take Casey Family Growers as a corporation to the national level. They’re the kind of people I want to do business with.”

A former state law enforcement officer, Chad has always had an appreciation for nature, having studied ornamental horticulture in school.

“I dabbled in it for a while, but then life took me in a different direction,” he says. “When the opportunity arose to not only get back into horticulture, but to do it with my family, the decision was easy.”

The decision should be just as easy for anyone in need of gardening or landscape supplies. A vendor for the City of Ocala, Chad believes customer service is of utmost importance.

“We take our job and our commitment to our clients seriously,” he says. “The beauty of being local is actually physically being there for our clients.”

Chad always puts the business deal on a personal level.

“We can get together, have a cup of coffee, and talk about your gardening and landscape needs,” he says. “No matter what the order, we can handle it.”
