There are hundreds of diverse fish camps in the Su There are hundreds of diverse fish camps in the Sunshine State, but perhaps none that have the same authentic old-Florida feeling, such as this storied 75-year-old gem on the St. Johns River.

Stegbone's Fish Camp, just south of Palatka, was built on land carved out of orange groves and many remnants of the original camp can be found throughout the property, including pilings on part of the dock that dates back to the 1870’s...Owner Jim Stege affirms, “We are low key. We’ve still got guys who are 70 years old and have been coming here since the early ‘50s.” #linkinbio

“On a recent cold morning, I woke up before dawn “On a recent cold morning, I woke up before dawn and drove out to the Ocala National Forest at 5am to take some aerial photos of Lake George. It was 34 degrees. I put up my drone and noticed this dense fog running off into the lake, coming up over Silver Glen Springs. I’m using the drone more often as an expansion of my photography to have a different perspective. I’m always searching for beautiful sunrise photos.” – Dave Miller

Indian Lake State Forest is a testament to humans and nature working together for a positive outcome for all. The forest’s 4,466 acres were once farmlands and platted for future housing development. Thankfully, through purchases made in 2007 and 2008, the Florida Forever program acquired the property and, while focusing on restoring the Silver Springs water system flow and quality, has also opened up the area for year-round recreational use. While we’ve been keeping our distance and avoidi While we’ve been keeping our distance and avoiding small, crowded spaces, it seems as if the great outdoors has been calling to us more loudly than ever before. In this issue, we get a deep breath of fresh air at some of Florida’s most remarkable natural wonders. From making a splash in the waters of the enchanted Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring to hiking the awe-inspiring trails of Indian Lake State Forest, to taking it low and slow at the historic Stegbone's Fish Camp on the St. John’s River – we’ve curated the ultimate guide to outdoor living in the Sunshine State.

But this issue isn’t only about recreational fun. We also share the heartwarming stories of two men who are made of pure grit and willpower. One who, with the help of some incredible technology from IHMC, overcame impossible odds to be able to walk at all, and the other risking it all by braving mother nature’s most grueling conditions to live in freedom on American soil.

Painted ceilings… let's talk about it. ✨

Paint is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to transform a room and provide a particular "wow" factor when using bold or dark and dramatic colors. A rich navy or deep black will blur the room's boundaries to create an intimate, comfortable, and enveloping feel. Bring on the drama by continuing this color down the walls and pair with white accents to really modernize the look! Click the #linkinbio for more.
