Patrons of Pasta Faire Italian Ristorante are always greeted by the aroma of authentic Italian cuisine, which mingles tantalizingly with the smell of fresh bread hot out of the oven. Now, this popular Belleview establishment is welcoming the holidays with an exciting new menu, and the recently remodeled, Tuscany-inspired décor certainly offers the ideal location for celebrating the season.
Long known for its Italian creations, wood oven rotisserie chicken, pizza and fresh seafood, Pasta Faire’s new menu features several Chef Specials from Chef Ricardo Cardenas and tempting Italian specialties.
Locally owned and operated for over 20 years, Pasta Faire has a full bar and extensive wine list. Regular specials make this the go-to destination for hungry customers seeking excellent food at reasonable prices. Monday offers all-you-can-eat rotisserie chicken; Wednesday’s special is 2-for-1 gourmet pizzas; and Thursday features all-you-can-eat spaghetti with Mama’s meat sauce. Happy Hour is every day except Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
“It’s never too late to have a holiday party,” says owner Kathy Funk. “Our semi-private dining room can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 70 guests, and we also offer off-site catering for any size gathering.”
Not far away in Summerfield, Taverna Red, also owned by Funk, will debut a new menu this month. The charming eatery features a welcoming Mediterranean wine cellar décor, complete with ornate Corinthian columns and wall murals. But it’s the food that brings patrons back again and again.
Several tasty steaks join the current menu, which highlights such entrées as Authentic Paella, Mustard and Herb Crusted Pork Tenderloin, Citrus Baked Salmon and Beef Tenderloin with Grilled Shrimp.
Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, Taverna Red also offers burgers and flatbreads, plus savory appetizers and decadent desserts, including Triple Chocolate Torte and Crème Brûlée. Catch live music every night from 6pm to 9pm, and try your hand at the trivia contest for fun prizes, every Monday from 6:30pm to 8pm.
The covered outdoor patio, complete with fireplace, is a popular place to dine and relax with friends. It’s also perfect for your party or event, and seats up to 50.
