Yalaha German Bakery

At Yalaha Bakery, on any given day, there is a large variety of homemade items to choose from. Sound daunting? It can be! The bread list alone boasts 70 varieties of German breads, literally “B” (baguettes) to “Y” (Yalaha Country Special). Then there are the pastries—cookies, Danishes, tarts, cannolis, éclairs, streusels, tortes, pies, and stollens. There’s something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. For the lunch crowd, they offer made-to-order sandwiches that are fresh and filling. The crowd favorite is the Cranberry Chicken, but the bakery also offers Brazilian tuna, turkey and cheese, German salami, and more. The daily “hot lunches,” which may include Pork Schnitzel, German Beef Rouladen, or Bratwurst, are served with potato salad and sauerkraut, or red cabbage. After you come once, you’ll want to return again and again. Yalaha is that good!
