Medical Expo Reaches 20 Years of Service

The 20th anniversary of the Medical Expo of North Central Florida took place on Saturday, January 25th at the India Cultural Association.

The expo, which serves as a networking event for over 300 physicians, nurses, PAs and medical professionals, also offered continuing medical education credits through the workshops held during the event. This year’s workshops included programs on Human Trafficking, Medical Errors and Domestic Violence.

The Medical Expo Committee supported the following community organizations with monetary donations: Vanguard High School IB Program, FreeD.O.M. Clinic, Marion Children’s Alliance, Interfaith Emergency Services and Public Education Fund.

Spinning Canvas Dance Pack from Tampa performed traditional and contemporary Indian dance. Attendees were treated to a catered lunch by Amrit Palace and Tony’s Sushi.
