On Top of the World’s Circle Square Commons and The Town Square hosted their annual Patriotic Celebration for residents and non-residents on Thursday’s soggy 4th of July. Early in the afternoon, attendees enjoyed games of football and frisbee, while others spread a picnic blanket and enjoyed food from many local vendors. About 3,000 people braved the rain to enjoy live entertainment by the Never Never Band, Second Slice and I-4 Band. Young and old alike, revelers danced to a mix of contemporary, country, jazz, and old classics like Unchained Melody. The evening was capped off with an exciting fireworks display that was certain to make everyone feel proud to be an American.
