On September 11th, the Ocala Police Department, Ocala Fire Rescue, and the City of Ocala unveiled the newest painted horse statue. Titled Slàinte, meaning “Cheers” in Irish, it reflects the sisterhood between Ocala and Newbridge, Ireland. Slàinte was created by artist Derek Gabriel Grimsley.
